Pottery Barn Warehouse had its grand opening on Thursday, Oct. 26, in the former h.h. gregg location in Central Park shopping center in Fredericksburg. Central Park Shopping Center is a 2.5 Million square foot open aired retail complex and is considered one of the largest in it’s category on the East Coast. MCB Real Estate owns a number of properties within Central Park that were acquired as part of a portfolio as net lease properties in 2015.

The pop-up store had over 50 anxious customers in line prior to their Grand Opening Event on October 26th. Located at 1731 Carl D. Silver Parkway, the Warehouse store carries items from Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids Furniture and PB Teen Furniture with prices up to 75 percent off original retail price tags. Most of the items are new, first quality furniture and décor, and the merchandise will change weekly as new products arrive, said company spokeswoman Kim House in an email.

The Fredericksburg location is Pottery Barn’s fifth pop-up.

“We have a short-term lease and will evaluate how the store performs to determine how long it will remain open,” she said. “We saw an opportunity to open in Fredericksburg to be closer to our customers there—our closest Pottery Barn stores are in Richmond and Washington D.C.”

“The temporary lease is an excellent way of enhancing the marketability of space until a permanent tenant is secured.” David Bramble – Founding Partner of MCB Real Estate

The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. this Thursday through Sunday. It will then be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays to Sundays only. The phone number is (540)786-1523, and managers are interviewing job applicants at the store. The story will have about 30 employees.
