On October 4, 2023, MCB, in collaboration with our project partners, was honored to receive the prestigious 2023 ULI Wavemaker Award for our work on Yard 56. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chesapeake Contracting Group, BCT Design Group, and L.F. Jennings for their support in accepting this esteemed accolade. We also wish to express our sincere thanks to the entire project team, whose dedication and expertise were pivotal in revitalizing the deteriorating site of Yard 56. This recognition marks a significant milestone in Yard 56’s journey, signifying its role as both an economic engine and a catalyst for environmental renewal, effectively eradicating a persistent food desert.
