MCB President Gina Baker Chambers Wins National CRE Honor
MCB Real Estate, an institutional commercial real estate investment management firm with nationwide holdings, is proud to announce that MCB President Gina Baker Chambers has been named to GlobeSt.’s Women of Influence Class of 2024 in the category of Investment Professional Category. Since 1983, GlobeSt. has been highlighting the leading women in CRE who have continued to propel the industry and to acknowledge their ongoing leadership.
The individual honorees have personally impacted the market and have significantly driven the industry to new heights via their outstanding successes. The 2024 Women of Influence were selected by GlobeSt.’s esteemed advisory board and senior editors based on how well they achieved goals and displayed ingenuity in regard to their nomination category; how impactful their work has been; how dedicated the nominee has been to furthering the development of their field and the role of women within it; and the nominee’s personal commitment to the highest ethical standards, service and excellence.
A Baltimore native, Baker Chambers joined MCB in 2023 as the firm’s president, where she oversees strategic, operational, and capital formation functions, leveraging her extensive investment background to cultivate industry relationships and develop strategic growth plans. Prior to MCB, Gina spent 14 years with one of MCB’s biggest strategic partners, Artemis Real Estate Partners, as senior managing director. During her time at Artemis, she propelled the organization from startup mode to managing $10 billion in assets, earning trust among major institutional investors and pension funds. Her adept management led to substantial client growth, with one pension plan expanding from $180 million to $1 billion and another from $300 million to $1.6 billion.

A proud supporter of philanthropy, Baker Chambers serves as a board member for the Real Estate Executive Council, Generation Hope, and the Toigo Alumni Endowment, demonstrating her dedication to advancing diversity, education, and mentorship. Baker Chambers graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics and received her MBA from Columbia Business School.
