MCB Real Estate has initiated construction on the Drexeline Medical Office Building, a 60,000 square foot healthcare component of the Drexeline Town Center, a mixed-use development situated in the Philadelphia suburb of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. The three-story medical office building, located at 5100 State Road, is 100 percent leased to Delaware County Human Services and a major non-profit hospital group.

Delaware County Human Services has signed a lease with MCB for the upper two floors of the building and plans to relocate its offices from Upper Darby, where they have operated for more than 30 years. The new facility will house the group’s Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities, Housing, Early Intervention, Mental Health and Early Learning, Children & Youth, and related administrative services functions. The hospital group will occupy the lower floor.

Delivered in 2023, Drexeline Town Center is located at 4990-5100 State Road at the signalized intersection of Township Line Road and State Road in Upper Darby Township. The development is anchored by a 72,000 square foot ShopRite supermarket and includes complementary retailers such as Chase Bank, PNC Bank, and the convenience store Wawa.
