We’re proud to share that Peter Pinkard, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of MCB Real Estate, has been named a 2025 Influential Marylander by The Daily Record. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals who have made a significant and lasting impact in their field while demonstrating leadership that strengthens communities across Maryland.

“The 2025 Influential Marylanders are, quite simply, inspirational,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of The Daily Record. “Their hard work and dedication to their fields have changed the landscape of Maryland… They make a difference in communities throughout the state every day.”

Peter’s influence on Maryland’s real estate sector—and beyond—runs deep. At MCB, he leads asset advisory, leasing, and disposition strategies, drawing from extensive experience in retail development, leasing, and construction across all retail property types, including malls, strip centers, power centers, and mixed-use projects.

A recognized expert in asset repositioning, Peter has worked on large-scale shopping center and mixed-use developments nationwide. Before co-founding MCB, he co-led Consolidated Affiliates, a retail and commercial real estate advisory firm specializing in repositioning distressed assets for institutional clients. His oversight spanned property management, accounting, leasing, construction, entitlement, and disposition.

Earlier in his career, Peter managed the real estate department for Kings Supermarket, a division of global retailer Marks & Spencer. While consulting for Kings, he directed all real estate functions, including strategic growth, market expansion, portfolio oversight, and both qualitative and quantitative market research.

Peter also lends his leadership to several nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as Chair of University Properties at the University of Baltimore and sits on the boards of the France Merrick Foundation and the Avalon Foundation.

We’re thrilled to see Peter recognized for the vision, commitment, and community impact he brings to everything he does. Congratulations, Peter!
