Today Mayor Brandon M. Scott announced that the new headquarters for the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development (MOED) will be located at Reservoir Square, opening in early 2026. This state-of-the-art facility will centralize MOED’s services into a One-Stop Career Center, supporting workforce development and economic growth.

Reservoir Square is an 8-acre redevelopment project at North Avenue and Interstate 83, aimed at revitalizing Baltimore’s west side. The initiative will address key community needs, including job training, access to fresh food, housing, and retail.

This innovative hub will feature advanced career training labs, job placement services, and collaborative workspaces, while being energy-efficient and accessible. The project will be delivered through public-private partnerships, leveraging New Market Tax Credits to ensure no impact on other city projects.
