
Brendan Harman leads the structuring and sourcing of debt and equity capital for the firm. With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, he has built a strong reputation as a trusted advisor, specializing in financing a wide range of asset classes, including office, retail, mixed-use, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, marinas, self-storage, parking garages, build-to-rent communities, and residential lot development.
Before joining the firm, Brendan spent eight years at MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, where he sourced and structured over $1.5 billion in capital. His expertise includes acquisition financing, development capitalization, debt restructuring, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, limited partnerships, and note workouts. With deep relationships across a diverse network of capital providers—including banks, life insurance companies, CMBS lenders, mortgage REITs, and alternative lenders—Brendan delivers innovative solutions for complex transactions.
An active member of ULI and NAIOP, Brendan also serves on the board of Maryland Family Network. Brendan earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development and Infrastructure from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from the University of Maryland.
