
Katherine Pinkard leads MCB Real Estate’s property management division, upholding rigorous standards and delivering premier, full-service management across a diverse national portfolio of industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, retail, and science and health-focused properties. She spearheads innovative strategies to maximize asset performance, enhance tenant experience, and drive long-term value, ensuring MCB remains a leader in the commercial real estate industry.
Prior to joining MCB, she was President of Pinkard Properties, which she co-founded in 2012 with her father, Greg Pinkard, continuing a four-generation family legacy in Maryland’s commercial real estate sector. In 2025, MCB acquired Pinkard Properties, integrating its 14-person team and approximately 2 million square feet into its portfolio.
In her previous role, Katherine built a niche in property and asset management, consulting on complex development projects and fostering lasting partnerships with local developers, public REITs, and municipalities. Under her leadership, Pinkard Properties became a recognized leader in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics into asset management, enhancing building automation efficiency and optimizing HVAC operations.
Her past and current work includes partnering with Brandywine Realty Trust on the proposed redevelopment of Baltimore Penn Station, overseeing engineering for Duke Realty’s (NYSE: DRE, sold to Prologis) Baltimore industrial portfolio, developing the Baltimore City Police Mounted Unit’s headquarters and stables, and assisting in property and asset management efforts for Goodier Properties and the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore. Additionally, she has collaborated with JMT as a minority subcontractor on multiple public sector contracts, including projects for the Maryland Transportation Authority and the Maryland Aviation Administration.
A champion for women in real estate, Katherine is an active member of CREW and holds roles at Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School and the Maryland Center for History and Culture. Recognized three times among Maryland’s Top 100 Women, she was inducted into The Daily Record’s Circle of Excellence in 2024.
Katherine earned her Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and her Master of Business Administration in Real Estate & Finance from The Johns Hopkins University – Carey Business School.
