Mr. Waddell is the CEO of MCB Wealthbridge and member of its investment committee. Mike has worked with national, institutional and private real estate companies, where he has served in key leadership roles focused on both tax-advantaged and traditional real estate investments. He has led the full-cycle sale of 33 DST & TIC offerings and played an integral role in the sponsorship of numerous tax-advantaged real estate offerings reaching a transaction volume exceeding $6B. TIC and DST programs have included multifamily, build-for-rent, industrial, retail, healthcare, and office asset classes.
Mike formerly served as president of Capital Square Realty Advisors where he successfully helped grow the company into one of the largest national 1031 exchange sponsors. In this role, he vetted property acquisitions as an investment committee member, led the full cycle sale of mature DST properties, played a key role in the company’s sponsorship of DST offerings, and oversaw the asset management group and its $6B property portfolio. Mike played an integral role in the successful launch of Capital Square’s development and multifamily property management businesses.
Previous to his work at Capital Square, Mike was employed with Triple Net Properties, LLC, a national 1031 TIC exchange sponsor, and its successor organizations where he ultimately served as executive vice president and chief operating officer overseeing asset management and other operational areas including its 20 million square foot property portfolio valued in excess of $3 billion. He also served as president of CCA Properties, a privately-held real estate investment company with extensive holdings in the southeast, and executive director of U.S. East Coast, Latin America and Canada corporate real estate for The Walt Disney Company. Michael earned B.S., Business Management and MBA degrees from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA.
