Sandy began working with MCB in 2020 as an independent HR Consultant bringing 30 years of HR generalist and business consulting expertise including organizational development, federal and multi-state employment related wage and hour, employee benefit and policy regulation compliance. In May 2022, Sandy joined MCB full time as Director of HR, continuing to drive the development of MCB’s HR function in-house as MCB experienced a 225% increase in employee number in less than 4 years, expanding its workforce into ten states across the U.S.
Prior to joining MCB, Sandy worked with small to mid-size private sector employers in multiple industries, with employees across the U.S. and in Canada, providing HR management consulting expertise, training for managers and HR departments, development of HR policies and procedures, employee performance management, managing company compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws, EEOC compliance, federal and state specific leave policy compliance, and ERISA compliance for welfare benefit plans.
Sandy is a Suma cum Laude graduate of the University of Baltimore, Merrick School of Business, with a Bachelor of Science degree with a Business Administration focus.
